How many people on here take part in hill climbs?

What cars do you use?

Whats specs do they have to be?

Whats the amount of money you've spent?

And what licenses do you need?

If you search for "How do I get into motorsport" threads you'll pick up the basics.

Basically join your local club (You HAVE to be a member of an MSA approved club - found on MSA.co.uk) and talk to the experienced members on whats best to use/buy etc.

Cars vary and costs are from £100-£60,000 it really depends on how big your pocket is. Be warned that you'll never spend enough...

Best bet is to find out when your next local event is and go along and talk to the competitiors. Most are friendly enough and will keep you right.
