For anyone who has quite thin sideskirts , i.e the plastic , in particular GSi reps , have you ever used expanding foam inside them , to make them more solid ?
Mine are coming loose with slight knocks , and Im getting a bit pissed off at their lack of strength , so could they be filled with this ?
Cheers

I fit some cheap fibreglass delta 2 sideskirts once the bonder had set i filled them up with expanding foam because they were too flimsy even when attached to the car
when the expanding foam had set i cut away all the excess foam aswell

Ive got it inside my GSi skirts also gives it a bit of extra stick also if you dont have the correct fixing brackets.

not good if you have an accident involving fire, it produces very bad fumes that will knock you out

How have you fitted them, mine are held in with 5 screws and have been like that for about a year now and never had any problem at all
