what pissed me off, is when i was an ICT technician at a school, the insurance cost me MORE than if I was a factory worker, yet I was getting more money??
I think its not just about how high-risk a job is, but if they class it as a higher-earner, then they will say oh well its a high risk job & will cost more blah blah just so they fleece you of more of your hard earned money...
Now I'm a student, its actually CHEAPER too, kinda makes the wages earnt = greater policy cost make more sense...

Its calculated on historical data, so you can blame all the other people who do your occupation for their previous claim history.
ICT technicians and broadcasters clearly make more claims.
