What a match it was! The Mets had a 4 run advantage by the bottom of the 8th when Johnny Damon beat a double play to cap a 4 run rally in the 9th innings then Wagner hit a single RBI in the 11th to bring defeat to the subway derby!

The Mets fans thought they had it in the bag coz the pitcher Martinez didnt let anything slip to the Yankees until they switched pitcher in the 9th inning. The Mets had a lot of loose balls and bad fielding.

There was some trouble at the Chicago derby too when a big fight bust out between the runner and the batstop when they collided and a huge fray kicked off! Was good to watch.

Judging by the amount that looked at this post - im assuming not many people on here are into baseball
