Once ma paxo has gone, looking at maybe getting a diesel. So far I havent found much choice.

Have a budget of 5.5k, ins group 13.

So far, I've been looking at:

mk4 Golf GTTDI's (fav)
Audi A3 TDI (expensive for a decent one, maybe out of budget)

I want something that looks sporty aswell, and with a bit of poke. The SEAT's will be stretching the budget a bit far I think.

This is the sort I've been looking at, something like this.

Would prefer an Audi, but dont really want to be taking any loans or finance out.

Dude, the earlier ibiza sports (before 04 i think) have the pd130 engine that is in mine. After 04 however, you need to buy an FR to get the 130 and sports are 100bhp.

Dunno what you could get one of these from, but theyre worth considering - as you've seen what mines like when you give it a bit of poke

Glad you've seen the light and are going derv

yeah Fabia VRS are good, i was lookin to get one.

unfortunately they only come in 5 doors, and are more expensive than the ibiza which has exactly the same engine - so i went for the seat.
