are these any good as track day cars and runabouts
im thinkin of getting one of these as a track day car and as a runabout whilst my corsa is getting done.
thinking of the 1.6 gti or the 1.8 gti may go further with it and mod it im not sure.
what do you all think?

I want one with no engine and requiring work... Then I want to find a 1.8t for it....

i may be able to point you in the direction of a mars red mk1 with a slight need for work ed. has an engine though, but thats easily removed

No money for the project at the moment, have to get the Corsa out of the way first. Then in with the VW. Just been looking at engine prices. Seems quite reasonable as an AUQ will set you back about a grand with everything included... The question is, do you get one with a VW, Seat or Audi cover on it?
