Say your in a hurry and you come across a potentially fast car pottering a long, do you feel weird overtaking them?
today there was an s2000 in front and an rx7 in the lane at the side, and i was in a rush. Any other time i'd have cut across into the gap infront of the rx7 and made hast up the hill passed the s2000 hogging the other lane, but as they were faster ccas i didn't. I always think they are going to think its some pillock trying to race them. Does this make me weird.

im always wary of overtaking properly fast cars as they only need to twitch their right foot and your fucked ! lol nice head on collision about to happen

does make you feel funny, but at the same time theres a few times Ive caught a much faster car comning onto a straight already going a lot faster then they were and just pulled out. Good feeling bllasting past a 911 turbo at 95 lol

i once overtook an M3 in my old 1.0 on a country road because i was running late for work. i'm fair sure he clocked on how slow my car was because after 10 seconds in the other lane he slowed down to let me pass

I used to over take faster cars in my Sport all the time. If they then wanted to overtake me then fair enough as I was then travelling at the speed I wanted to!

I agree, its worrying as all they need to do it put their foot down and your fucked. I overtook a 911 once i was worried.

i am exactly the same,i always feel weird overtaking a faster car, i normally just sit behind them, and only overtake if they r going really slow. Its just the knowing they can just fly off if they want when ur overtaking.

if your going faster than a car.... why should you feel daft about overtaking it...
I only get pissed off with neds driving well above the speed limit, right up my arse etc.... trying to pass a 'faster car'.... just to slow down again right in front. That really annoys me.

i think i respect faster cars more on the road, not saying i dont respect others i as i do.
I always think if i blast past a ferrari or porsche they will think im a chav so i just glide past them lol

I do this
Had a lad in a corsa trying to get past me on the ring road and I knew he wanted to come past me and then pull accross two lanes and go down a different route.
if it was me id back off and then move lanes but he thought it was easier to speed up over take me and cut me up. Well lets just say I think it took him longer to get to where ever he was going. I kept at the same speed as him and forced him to go under the underpass

i always overtake cars whether they are faster then me or slower. Any car can overtake another it depends how you drive it. I mean i overtook a subaru impreza and i have a 1.28v corsa

I don't care. What annoys me is when I overtake them because they are going too slow. Then they either speed up as you are overtaking or when they see the 1.2 badge on the boot they speed up and drive up my ass I'M NOT GOING TO RACE ANYONE!!! Pisses me off

A few weeks ago i was behind a bentley continental, it was doing the speed limit of 60mph for about 2miles, then it went down to 45mph..........i thought bugger!
Was wondering whether to overtake or not, but i dropped mine into 3rd, got along side him, awaiting for him to boot it, but it was a bloke about 65-70!
He had no chance gainst my 1.2 lol:

Always get some chav try it on with the calibra JUST to say they have overtaken a turbo!
On more than one occasion its been my girlfriend driving
she takes no shit and floors it when they get alongside
makes it all the more funny when they see its a girl driving and get left on the wrong side of the road

I used to get a run up in my corsa. Speed up to about 90 to get past a scoob doing 60 so he wouldnt get chance to speed up.
