its the ones in denial that get me.

or the ones that really fell they are something special becasue they have a nice car there parents paid for, my mate called my old corsa a bucket of crap before when his dad just bought him a brand new punto sporting alright for some.

Its only jealousy, everyone is the same. Like when you see a young lad driving an Evo or something you always say 'daddy's bought them a car' but if your dad came home one night gave you some keys and there was an Evo on your drive your not gona say no thanks dad.
My dad owns a garage and has loads of cars but i've still had to buy mine and pay for everything, but i'd be made up if he gave me a car.

my mates dad bought him a brand new 1.4 sri last year and he was still at sixth form when he passed and his dad also paid insurance
but he told everyone at school hed saved up for it for ages
when one he dint have a job and 2 hes blatently spoilt
then we were speakin bout him at the pub and it slipped out that his dad bought it n they went back to him now hes not my mate

I know what you mean, my mates are always giving it, "yeah lets go to the cinema"etc but i say i dont have the money because im savin for car lessons etc. and the complain, but one is the person i mentioned earlier the other jst has no control over his money and has nothing saved

lol i had a mate like that .. no control over his money, dont speak to him any more but my other friend does...
hes now £20,000 in debt, despite his idiot parents paying off 3 of his credit cards, and hes got nothing to show for it, still drives round in his mams ford KA.
the best bit is for easter his parents bought him a sony psp lol wtf.

What I hate more than that is kids who have so much money they can do whatever they like with their lives and not worry about having to earn a decent living as their parents will provide / bail them out whatever.
These sort of kids who say 'I wanna be a racing car driver' and their dad buys them last years winning car and team and then funds them all the way - with training etc.
or they bum around at college / uni - knowing if they fuck up they will just get bought a house / flat from their parents etc.

all my mates got there cars bought for them, insurance payed for ect ect
but i payed for everything myself, lessons, insurance, cars ect .......... and now 2 years down the lines im the one with the least debt and more to show for my money
(ps. we are all on about the same salary)
so i see it as a good thing when you do it all your self tbh!
