Whats the point though? Too much money and pointless innovation thats all it is.
Never the less it does look funky.

They should try spending some of the money they wasted on that and the Veyron, on building cars that aren't shit.

Was once a program all about it on TV (Men & Motors) its where new cars are stored and if a german buys his new VW he gets the option to go and take a factory tour and see his car in this being picked off the shelf so to speak.
The whole factory / museum looks amazing would be interesting even for none vee dub fanatics

Is it the Porsche factory that sends the cars around the buildings glass front, or do VW too?

When you've spent two miserable years doing warranty work on brand new volkswagens, only to watch the same manufacturer fritter away millions of pounds on a car that you will never receive any benefit from, and that will be sold to a few mega rich individuals for less than it cost to build, you have the right to speak badly of volkswagen.
The fact that the dash clocks and some of the switch gear in the Veyron look like they have been lifted straight from a vw parts bin is even better reason to have contempt for the people that designed/engineered it.
It's not a true Bugatti, it's a stupid volkswagen with a pre-purchased luxury brand name stuck on the front.
It is a great car, yes, and I would love to own one, but it is a disgusting waste of money and not pretty enough considering the enormity of the investment in the project.
The original Veyron concept was a truly beautiful car with better attention to detail than the production car, and without the clutter that seems to ugly up the finished product.
You could say that is due to form following function, but the McLaren F1 went into production as lovely as it was at the first draught.

They are proposing to 'waste' even more money bringing out a 1500bhp version soon... I agree with what you are saying, it looks like a VAG car, not a Bugatti.
