Always knew this, he has an ego the size of germany, still quality.... notice the 3 year contract though, quite short... but i supose that reflects his age... personally im hoping for Diarra in Summer

He has gone there for one thing...money! And there is only one reason Chelsea bought him...to stop thers having him.
He plays EXACTLY the same role as Lampard, attacking midfield. And although Mourinho has said he will play them together I dont see it happening, and he isnt going to be dropping Lampard in a hurry.
He should of gone to Arsenal or Man Utd if he wanted to come to England, or someone like Real in Spain. They all need a player like him and that move would of been good for him.

If they get Shevchenko i can't see anyone beating them. They managed to beat everyone with Donkey Drogba, what will they be like with an able striker!

Oh and hopefully SWP will leave Chelsea this summer. His own fault mind for selling out but what a waste of English talent

If Liverpool get a decent 20-25 goal a season forward then we will be challenging them next season all the way. We were only 9pts behind them even though we scored 15 less goals, so if Rafa buys well I couldnt care less who Chelsea buy as we will be up there!

they havent the money to buy all those...
Torres 18m+
Diarra 20mil+
Carrick 12mil+
Never going to happen! And thats without other clubs coming in (alla Chelsea) to bump up the prices.

Yeah, we were linked with SWP last year before Chelsea sniffed about, and then again in January. I just dont think they will let him come to us and we arent going to offer anything near what they paid.
As for Bent, I'd rather go for someone like David Villa.

Good point with the Manu Utd transfer targets.
The thing with Man Utd this summer, is that they have Ruud to exchange, so this could bring down the price tag of Diarra a little. Whilst on ths Ruud situation, I want his replacement to be Torres, but I would like Ruud to stay.
Chelsea really piss me off with their 'transfer strategies' like the price bumping mentioned .

RVN will not go to any of those sides in exchange though, he'll only go if a side like Real or AC or similar come in for him. And they wont pay what Utd reportedly want (14mil) because he is getting old now.

Aye, he is no spring chicken no more but he still is a world class striker.
Who do you think will replace Ruud? Gudjonson has been linked but yet again, I very much doubt Chelsea will want to help rivals become stronger. This has made me think of Cudicini, world class keeper who is not getting the matches... wasted talent.
I really dislike Chelsea. Shevchenko's price tag will be amusing though

Cudicini is another one who is just there for money. He would of been a free agent this summer but he signed a new contact (for alot more money) to sit on the bench and only play in the FA Cup.
I dont think Utd will attract any top forward to replace Ruud if he goes, simply because you NEED a midfielder more and you wont be able to afford to splash the cash to buy world class players in both positions.

Torres is playing in a side which provide him very little service, yet he's still managed to have a good season, makes a lot of his own goals instead of being assisted, so with C.Ronaldo and Giggs, Rooney when fit etc he will be awesome, the only thing that will upset him a bit is the pace of the Premiership, he's used to the slow build up of La Liga, whereas David Villa is a pitbull from the start, hunting the ball down but his fitness can be lacking if he plays say 3 games in 10days etc, so either have their floors but I think you need someone who is totally opposite of Rooney for them to gel together which would be Torres.

not really, as they'll just go out and spend 100mil next year, then the year after, then the year after.....

It will get to a point though, when players will realise this is not such a good thing after all... SWP a good example of this.... how much did they pay again? 20m?
