my mum used to have one, isnt a bad car overall.
Ride is hard...very hard. And is as noisey as fuck with the roof up. Plus they like to create funny rattling noises every so often that BMW say are 'perfectly normal' but are fucking annoying.

Gearbox is actually ok. I wasnt keen on the tip box but I was pretty happy with it.
If you want a manual stick to the manual as you will never be 1005 happy with the tip box.

Yeah, it has the engine fron the E36. They only did them for a year or so until the 330 came out. You'd better off getting an E46 325 than the E46 328 as the new 325 develops 4 hp less than the old 328....(but nearly 30 lbs less torque)

might aswell spend an extra few quid and get the 330
was going to get a 323 origonally but why do things in half.
330 is cheaper to insure than 325

I have a 330 sport, its a cracking car, well my opinion may change when it goes into bmw for a service as i suspect i will get shafted!
