I've had a Plus Points card for several months now and on handing the card over yesterday the attendant asked if I always used Optimax. He said I should have been upgraded to the Optimax Card as they keep track on which fuel you use. Well I'm waiting! I told him the rewards were crap on Plus Points, and he said the Optimax card was loads better and you can get Ferrari merchandise.

Anyone got one? I'm so e-mailing them, I want free stuff!!!!

They've sent me 2 e-mails. One just now says I don't qualify for one as I dont buy Optimax 3 times a month, but...

They're giving me one anyway!

No, do you have a PlusPoints card? You earn 1 point for every litre of fuel bought. You redeem them for vouchers for high street shops and fuel vouchers.


Bit crap as 1000 points is £10 voucher/fuel, but its no skin off my nose handing it over each time I go in!

£10 per 1000 points is better than nothing.

1 litre = 1 point so 1000 litres = 1000 points

I've also signed up as I tend use Shell more often than not and use about 3-4 tanks of fuel a month usually...

It couldn’t be simpler to accumulate Shell pluspoints. You start to earn Shell pluspoints as soon as you reach the earning threshold of 400 litres per quarter – that’s just 35 litres a week.
