Got the first few bits on, still waiting on an m-tech rear diffuser but about £200 spent so far

Nice one mate thats miles better, Are you going to do the rear lights too?

Im going to look at a black e36 vert tomorrow Only downside is that its a 2 litre.

What engines in yours? I keep thinking this vert tomorrow will be slow as ive got a 2.8 atm.

the 318/320s are very slow but to be honest a convertible is more of a posing car, if u wer bothred about speed ud go for a bigger engined coupe which will have the same insurance as a lower engined vert

Ive got a 2.8 coupe. But getting a 320 vert for posing.

i bet insurance is similar aswell isnt it lol?

id rather have a vert anyway i wudnt be arsed about speed, especially in summer

no it wont be more. but i remember last year i did a quote for a 318 vert and it was similar to a 325 for example

Just did a sample quote on admiral who im with atm but both my current coupe and the vert they require fully comp only? Wasnt like that when i insured my car, must have changed.

surely if the car is fairly old and is less than a value of around 6k companies allow third party dont they? thats what iv usually found anyway

Ah right well i put in 5.5k for the vert and forgot to change it when i tried my coupe. I'll have a look and see what happens when i drop the value.

Just been messing around with the quote thing and worked out that anything over 5k value they insist on fully comp. Ill put it down as 4900 then
