So for example using corsa gsi shafts and cav inner cvs, instead of m-tec or similar gear ? would one be proper and the other not ?
same with using an ecotec pipe instead of a powercap ?

it takes 153.15lb/ft torque for a corsa to climb a 30 degree incline laden with 4 moosepig heffamonsters.

nothing to do with cost or anything. IMO my conversion is done properly. I used the plug off the corsa engine loom on the cav one so I can unplug it like std in the future. All solder joints were made with solder and appropriately sized heatshrink. Instead of running wires around the bay I picked the ign and perm live out of the loom and connected them to the corsa plug.
I looked at the driveshaft options and got hubs bored out. No milling the hub down for std bearings, or stupidly small uuter cvs. as a by product ive got equal length shafts.
a also took the time to replace the bushes and brakelines when i did the job, which are the bits a lot of folk forget.
I regret not doing more tbh, id love to have had the time to paint the block, redo the cam cover, have all the engine mounts and suspension wishbones etc powdercoated etc.

sparing no expense at any point.
Replacing/rebuilding all parts on donor engine.
not rushing the conversion.
no cutting and crimping wires.
maintaining diagnostic function/capability.
Using professionals when required (I had to use them to machine block and gearbox).
I also agree on all points made by alistair.

Wiring done properly - soldered NOT crimped or bullet connectors and tape.
wiring tucked out of the way so looks tidy and doesnt rub through
