Ive now owned 3 corsas!! Finally sold my most recent one to a lad from scotland whos coming to get it on sunday!! Thats cleared the way for my 206!! I know you arent all fans of the 206, but its the car I've wanted since I was into cars, I just love the look of it!!
Ive picked up a black 1!! 20k miles, 2001 reg, mint condition, 1.1litre (for insurance, i know it will be slow) for £3600!! Absolute bargain and got loads of plans for it!! Picking it up on friday!!
Picking up GTi 180 Interior and Wheels on Sunday, then got plans for outside (eibach coilovers, morettes, sp gti bumpers and spoiler, bonnet grille)
Il keep posting up pics as I add stuff to it!! Il get pics up of the car as standard on saturday, then add pics as I put stuff on!!
Il miss the corsa tho

yes mate, but less insurance meant more on the car!! i aint bothered about the speed anyway, as every street has a camera on these days!! i just want it to look good!! il deffo get a bigger engine once im 21 tho, probs cuda gone for a 1.4 but for the price, ive got an absolute minter!!

Sell it on for more money and get a 1.4 quicksilver or something, you will be bored with the 1.1 within a week

1.4 quiksilver isnt anything special either though so dont bother wasting your time mate keep it and get it the way you want it

it not all about the speed to some people tho
when i was 15yrs, all i cared about was the look of car, didn't care about the engine, saw all the engine stuff as "pointless & something i'd never do)
feel the total opposite now

yeah i love powerful cars, but dont see point now, id rather spend more on looking nice than on insurance, as id have nothing to show for paying my insurance money!!
il take some pics on saturday when ive picked it up on friday night and cleaned it!!
interior and wheels are going on on monday, so il get some more pics then!! il use this thread as a progress one, as il be spending a fair bit in next few months, and will just keep updating!!
i thought the response would be worse than it has been, cheers peeps!!

My sister has a 1.1 8v 206 - problem is 206 weighs soooo much, it really is slow.

Now let me get this straight....
Your not getting a decent speed car because you can't afford the insurance but you can spend a good 2 grand on mods to make a slow car look like a quick car
