I saw a thread somewhere with someone saying they took out the adjustable part for the spring, did you take it all out leaving just the spring, or did you leave the bottom bit with the thread on?

Posting in gen chat as a wider range of people may have seen the thread or remember it. I cant find it via search now!

yes just take the adjuster platform right out. Make sure the springs sit securely though.

yeah take it fully out but i would suggest cable tighing the spring to the axle just for extra saftey!

if fitted securely no need for cable tie, done this to mine, fit's nicely and sit's nicely.

but surely they will just act like cut springs as they arnt desinged to be used without the collar
