I have a problem with my front window wipers they wont go back to there orginal place and end up hitting each other , Do i need to change the motors or just the wiper arms?

there is only one wiper motor, so it sounds like the linkage from one to the other is loose or damaged. If you have a Haynes, follow the instructions to get to it and have a look.

Try tightening the bolts on the wiper arms...it happened on my old clio and i tightened the bolts which solved the problem

i got this prob drivers side wipper arm finishes about 3inch before it should lol i need new wippers as paints flaking off. trip to scrappy at weekend

check the groves on the thread of the wiper bolts, if there smoothe off then ya have a problem, most probably tho the wiper links are loose, as in where the wiper bends back, they are usualy loose, in that case get a wiper arm.

well just changed them (had nothing better to do anyway) and did a quick test.

my bolts were loose, but changed the arms over anyway. seems to have done the trick.

i have been warned by a mechanic not to tighten them too much though
