Now officially a student again got acceptd to HNC engineering.. 
so much am i going to get student loan..
staying at home with parents 
both have good salaries.. will this reflect how much i can get?!?!
still paying off a loan and will be working part time, so more money i get the better

i'm not sure how the new system works regarding the new tuition fee things, but with my loan (on old tuition fee system), my mum an dads collective income is taken into account when you have the income assessed option.

I'm on 3k, living at home with two retired parents
Got more when I lived away but it's only gone down by a couple of hundred.

its not too much really.....i had to get shot of the car and haven't had one for 18 months till i got the silver sport, which i can only afford cos i start placement next month...

You get more if you have a dependant, so knock someone up sharpish.

to be fair though, cos i'm living in the centre of sheffield, i don't really need a car cos theres plenty of buses an trams an that around, but not many free parking spaces !!!

It used to depend on whether you went for income assessed or non-income assessed, non was basically 3k a year, and income assessed went on how much your parents were paid
