alrite, i bought my corsa gsi about 2-3 months ago and have bought a fair bit of stuff for my engine. i wanted to wait till after the MOT to put all the stuff on but have just bought a chip and skimmed head and dont no what route to go down. here are a list of the bits i have rite now.

1.6 16v gsi engine

mantzel rep inlet manifold
k&n indution kit
magnex bax box (no silencer)
de-cat
lightened flywheel
helix clutch
skimmed,polished and pressure tested head
mantzel chip (raises the limit to 7500rpm)

i know i need a exhaust manifold but havent decided which one to go for.

i was wanting to know what you think

1. build everything up and do more to the head etc...

or

2. start putting everything on and just put other things on when i get them.

i am in no rush to get the stuff on but havent really went past this stage before. so any help and websites that i can get parts of would be great.

What's your budget mate?

Get some reinforced ARP bolts if you've raised the limiter

Also dump the K+N and get a pipercross with a cold air feed

rcb, i ran 7200rpm everyday for a year with no problems with no arp bolts..... nothing went wrong. id wack the stuff you have on now, then when you get a head build it up with new stuff and cams then fit it and get it mapped at the same time
