T-Cut, I find the colour restorors crap. They just add a thick coloured gue to your car and don't last that long.
T-Cut it then use Auto Glym Super Resin Polish.

i t-cut mine and used sum red turtle wax n u can tell the diffrence it does take ages tho but its worth it

If our car is a post 97 then you cant use T cut as the paints are water based

I saw a red X reg 'C' the other day with copmletely pink bonnet and roof like a tatty old 'B' 
I was gobsmacked to say the least. The car looked realy clean apart from knackered bonnet and roof paint.
Ridiculous to see any, never mind THAT level of fading on such a new car.
I can't beleive that Vauxhal STILL can't make a red paint that doesn't turn pink.

Agreed the 3 step is time consuming but really brings the paint back to a quality finish
