have you found a way to bodge the multiplex wiring, or are you going for mappable management and TBs?

Mappable management and TBs.

just using it for the extra 200cc's and the fact that its still a small block really. fancy trying something new, its never been played with before, and i fancy a challenge

Busted

It is the easy option though, but I didn't know there was much tuning potential in this engine?

its esseintially just a X16XE block with a bigger bore and a different head, all the same tuning principles will apply, just getting bits might be a bit harder to get hold of, like cams and manifolds, but ill try

can you not just run the 16xe head and cams and manifold on the 1800 block, or have they been perverse with the stud pattern?

I know lee303 on mig was saying hed seen an 1800 corsa or noxva(cant recall) on track going pretty well. Seemed to have a lot more toque than the 1600.

best of luck with it, nice to see someone doing someting little out of the ordinary.

1600 head doesnt fit as far as i know, might be wrong, but im sure i was told that somewhere

i could give it a go though i suppose, would help with cams and manifolds

i'll have a word with lee, and see if he has any more details

i think anyway he was planning on a new bottom end for his, but maye he meant a whole new engine.

I assume the 1800 block is different to all the other smallblocks externally?
