am i right in thinking seen as say natural honey or raisins contain so much sugar they are bad for your teeth, or is that just refined sugar

natural sugar isn't AS bad, but it will still have a similar effect, just not as severe

bar was just wondering as i think i have the start of a cavity, and the only thing i eat which could have sugar in it is honey and raisins, dont even drink anything other than water.

go figure sods law, my bro eats nothing but sweets and shite all day and has perfect teeth.

sucrose is commonly known as sugar but sugar is a general term for a type of carboydrate. fruits contain a lot of fructose which can still be converted to acid by the bacteria that colonies the teeth. fructose, like sucrose, will inhibit fatty acid oxidation and also make you feel full for a short period
