Tickets went on sale this morning for our play off games with Barnsley today, in my great clubs wisdom they decided to only give season ticket holders today to go down and get um before they go on general sale.

So this morning I got up at 8:30 after getting in at about 3 last night, to stand in the pissing down rain for about 4 hours, to get um. Thats whats been a football fan is all about, non of this "Oh i'll just watch it on't telly" bollocks

For nothing else would I even think about doing something so fucking stupid, what is it about football that makes you such stupid stuff, but i've got my tickets so who gives a fcuk

Cheers mate

Im confident we can get to the Final, although Barnsley have only lost 1 at home all season so it will be tough going there but I reckon if can aviod defeat then we'll beat them at home

You need to do it this season. League 1 this year has been pretty poor imo. League was won by a team with 82 points, we had 98 last season. Hull in 2nd had 86.

Also I don't much like Barnsley so please win

Wouldn't say it was a case of it being "poor" ,if anything its been a lot more competative that previous seasons as a lot of the top teams have beaten each other, and nobody has been able to run away with it, but your right we do need to get of there ASAP.

After missing out last year by one point, having been promotted from League 2 the season before that (after nearly going bust in that summer) I think we've tremedous progress, on a shoestring budet using Academy players and free transfers. We need Championship football in Huddersfield, we've got the Stadium, the fans, the facillities, just need to get up now.

League 1 is a strange league, look at how many teams come up from League 2 then go up again from League 1 in the next season. Predicting who will come up is impossible. Nobody thought Plymouth would win the league when they did, nobody thought we'd win the league when we did, same for Southend.

Hope you do it

So do I mate

Know what your saying about League 1, its not that much of a better standard than League 2, its basically the same, you need a few good players and a few battlers and your 90% there.

After watching the Championship Play Offs over the last couple of days I can see that it will be a much bigger step up from League 1, although with the squad we have, plus a few additions, I think we could hold our own.

you what?!
ITS JUST LIKE WATCHING BRASIL!

Missed the last 2 goals though was in "the Wellington" Think i wouldn't have made it out alive if they would have found out i was a Barnsley fan!

there were some fat chav's next to me talking about going down to the ground for a fight I was having flashes to history of Violence that i watched last night.

Got asked for change off 4 tramps on the way back to the car. Got abused by a tramp on the way for not letting him use my phone. Such a lovely place!

Absolutley gutted after last night Think i experienced every emotion possible during them 90 mins! Cant believe we threw it away Who'd be a footie fan eh!

After first half I thought we had done it, were playing brilliantly until Barnsley were gifted a Penalty (I dont think it was a Penalty, and after seeing it on TV I dont even think it was inside the box) and that seemed to lift them. Thought when we got it 1-1 we wouldnt throw it away again, but then some slack marking and a goalkeeping error (again ) cost us the game.

Its been same all season at Huddersfield, so much promise within the team, but we always seem to fail when the big games come around. Although we were 2nd highest scorers in the league this season, out defence leaks too many goals, and we need another couple of quality players if were going to get of this league. Still, we went one better than last season, so we've improved, we've got a young squad, and if we bring in the right players over the summer then i've every confidence we will be out of League 1 sooner rather than later. Will be off to get my season ticket for next season later this week.

Well done to Barnsley, and good luck in the Final Hopefully your fans will actually make a bit of noise at that game as you were non existant last night until you scored

Huddersfield relied on Andy Booth too much imo. The first half though Barnsley were rubbish, had a bout 2 good moves and that was it.

No he didnt

Carl - He would have been if he would have conected with that shot in last second Like I said were a couple of players short of a good side (up front is one of the areas we need to strengthen, we also need some pace in the side) cos like you say we do rely on Boothy abit too much (although he is a legend) We've come along way in a short period of time, and im confident we can continue improving and moving up the leagues
