If you can get an V6 instead you will be able to get an official UK import that will be cheaper to insure.

I always use Admiral for insurance, they done my Impreza for 400 when I was 22!!

It will be possible, but insurance IMO will not be lower than £1500.

I was lookin at p1's las yea and the smallest quote i managed 22 5yrs ncb was £1500.

Evos are worse on insurance, and i take it youve remembered he 4k service intervals?

Id get an imprezza.

I pay about £900 on the p1 now, thats at 27, 6 years NCB, 5k yearly limit in a Manchester post code.

The thing with the Evos/Subaru's/most jap turbo's is you have got to be prepared to being forking cash on em. Looked after they are pretty reliable but for them to be they need to be looked after - 6 month/5k mile service intervals, proper warm up and cool down procedure etc etc!

They are sweet tho and worth every penny!!!
