A Golf Mk2 Rallye G60 came into work today, with standard wide arches (like escort cosworth) and a supercharged lump pushing out 210bhp at the wheels, it sounded awesome!

Like this, but with 17" OZ Superturismo's:

yay or nay?

its for a guy at work, when he first started with us he was driving a boggo ford orion and could not be more into standard and boring car is to get me from A to B type. Orion got swapped for a golf GTi and now after we pestered him hes after some wheels for it, hes so got the bug he was looking at 17s but i think there just a touch too big, although the super legs are tres cool

they are nice tho, my mates just bought a G60 engine for his MK2 GTi running 210bhp with a jabba charger or summat
