I have changed oil and filter, im guna get a Air filter to go in the box soon, is there anything else i can do to make it run as smooth as a nut?

When was the last time you changed the plugs and lead's?
Use a good qualiy fuel too such as Shell, don't bother with Optimax, the normal Unleaded is good enough for your 1.2 - They all contain cleaning agents.

Yeah i was thinking of doing the plugs on it, what about cleaning the carbs?

do the plugs and leads as said also change the fuel filter and a bit of carb cleaner down the throttle body dont hurt either oh and if your feeling rich bung some injector cleaner in the tank next time you fill up with petrol

Best thing to do is to remove excess weight, spare tyre etc. No point spending money tuning it mate.
