Just a quick question. Does central locking have its own ECU seperate from the main fuel injection ECU for the engine?

yep, its behind the ecu in the footwell for the drivers, you have to take the ecu off and its a small black box

nice 1 buddy, just 1 other question. Basically I've got a keyless conversion kit and I wandering will I still b able to activate the vauxhall anti-theft system everytime I lock/unlock with my new remote kit?

it is possable but its a pain todo theres 3-4 ways to do it have a look at the dead locking faq on the vxon forum

if your arnt any good with car electrics dont bother. I know the info is for the cav but 95% of it is the same. some wire colours may be different tho
