Started restoring the centre caps, as the wheels that i had sent me, although mint and spotless, had chronic flaking centre caps.

This is how they all were

Rubbed um down and masked over the bolts, and applied primer

Then applied several layers of chrome paint, then bought some Plastikote stuff which is great.

Just need to laquer them tomorrow, looking a bit healthier than they were

the middle bits and scrathed and lump cause i was scrathing them to see how dry they wer, the caps will go over that bit anway , they are just centre caps man, not a wing, hardly noticable and dont forget the bolt holes have masking over them so looks messy atm but wont when they are removed

you lot do realise there is masking to remove and the centres of them will look rough as iv touched them? i can only see a tiny few imperfections elsewhere that you cant even see unless your within 4 inches of them from your face

youl see they look fine when iv got the seat centres on and all the masking off tomorrow

They look tacky as the rest of the wheel is not 'chrome'.

Would look better if they were the same colour as the rest of the wheel.

And just the S badge, no SEAT below it, would look better too.
