I've seen post's in General Chat about organising a Corsa track day at Elvington.

How about a drag event where all the cars's on the site go up against each other? Obviously it would be Corsa's against other Corsa's ie 1.6 vs 1.6 etc but then have none Corsa owner's car's running seperatly to make it more interesting?

So could be:

-1.4 vs 1.4
-1.6 vs 1.6
-2.0 vs LET
-None Corsa

Then compile all the time's at the end? Would be cheaper to run at a Straightliner's event too, rather than book Elvington.

What do people think?

ah rite, but theres 1.6s that will match 2.0s, 1.4s that will match 1.6s, defeats the object of having categories if u know what i mean

Well, it was just to give people an idea!

If it's at a Straightliner's event it will be a free for all anyway and times will have to be compared later!

End of the day it goes on the times, you can compare it in any way you want afterwards

People waqnted the trackday to see how cars etc would get on around corners as well as in a straight line, I still like this idea though

probs be a better idea to open it up to the whole board and not just yorkshire,coz if its just yorkshire we would have about 5 cars there
