yes but remember when this film came out, the effects, the fight sequences, the lobby sequence was a benchmark for films that followed.

yeah so many copys these days, this was a change in fight and gun sequences because of this its that gd!

exactly, it was fresh and inventive when it came out, wow factor etc etc.

So many films have been inspired by its action sequences.

Ryan why do you consider the storyline to be shit? imo the wachowski brothers came up with a decent plot/idea.

The Lobby Scene is whats going to happen at PVS when I arrive.

exactly - was just watching it there and thought ??? Been done to death and then realised they were the original ones to do spinning camera stuff etc.

at the time this film was legendary, the graphical effects, the camera work, the story line. Then the sequels ruined the matrix name and the effects are no longer that spectacular.

regarding the sequels ruining the matrix name perhaps there was too big a gap in time between the original film and the sequels?

advancements and other films using similar techniques released after the first matrix but before the sequels may have desensitised the audience a little?
