Ok - sorry with me being so busy i didnt get a chance to see that!

we know the obvious problem!

I think that im going to try my efforts and get us a space at billing instead as more people feel they would enjoy that rather than donny!

I shall look further into our position and stand space

show organisers couldnt organise a piss up in the brewery
crap stand positions in general (bit up behind TV on tarmac was probably best)
lots of people saying they were showing and not turning up!

So please give me your reasons when we couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery!

I offered everyone with a modified car 30 people from the donny list a space and i had 10 payments!

I kept trying and trying

im ever so sorry but when it comes to you guys paying you become disintrested. I had to extend the deadlines to wait for monies to clear which could be the problem of our position!

space didnt seem to be that much of an issue, it looked as if we could of had twice as many cars and stil not be treadin on any of the other stands toes. I understand that this issue may be down to the fact it was a bit of a through route to the action track tunnel, but i dont think we would of obstructed anything taking up more room. I apprechiate this wud be down to the organisers and not u brad. i think location was the main problem overall, i hope the poor turnout was just as misfortunate series of events with ppl havin to pull out.

Brad did try rather hard to get this show organised,as time went on the numbers dropped

i think we need to help eachother out a bit more to be honest, its not brads fault only 10 or so turned up,it was the people showing and well done to the people that did show up and made the effort

I think it was the shows fault for it being so sh1te not Brads or anyone on this board. It was full of turd cars, the show stands were turd as they were so far apart, the show had this "dirty" feel about it.

I think it would be best like you have said Brad for CS to pull out of Donny whilst its still at Donnington racecourse and concentrate on getting CS into Billing.

yes sorry have been misunderstood. I was reffering to ripspeed donny organisers, not anyone off this site.
It was organised as best could be on here was people not turning up that let the side down.

i agree ollie, i think time would be better spent trying to get cs into billing

I thought that with the track action this year made the show less chav and much more for enthusiasts. I really enjoyed it and although the organisation was poor, you all have to remember that it was the first year here, and things can only get better. The CS stand in my opinion was in an ok position as it was the 1st thing I saw when I came in on the Saturday. Ok, it could have been better but it could have also been worse. I was actually surprised to hear that you couldn't fill the stand, with the amount of members you have. The cars that were there on the Saturday though, were top quality so well done peeps.

Everyone knows that the VBOA is the best Vaux show of the year by a country mile - that is the only reason I joined the VxlSCC so I could park on their stand.

main thing we need to do is book the stand with the organisers early next year, if we want to go, thats why we got a crap space.

Yeah the time of the booking decided the space, could have done with knowing that beforehand.

I liked the track action but otherwise the venue was poor. I wouldn't like to book again in good faith thinking we could improve things and it just be the same.

We've never done well with Donny wherever its been, either because they told us we had a limit on cars, or because of that plus a bad location.

it was my first time for donny, its put me off really.

seems more geared towards trying to sell you crap and charging people a fortune for entry, rather than the cars people own.

The organisers at donny were useless (not brad)

Looking round the show there were many places a 10car stand could have been put inside the show rather than the car park next to a bin!

Best thing they could do is move it back to Doncaster thats so well organised and more compact rather than walking passed various empty space and burger vans to see the next show stand!

And the CS people for not sticking with the CS stand, and the 30 people who never paid or sent brad the details which let the site down altogether.

Brad did a top job
at the end of the day if the people that had there names down for being on the stand had all turned up the stand would have looked far better even if in poor location with dust everywhere.

was my first donny and has put me off a bit aswell, best bit was camping and playing pro on ps2 all night
