Lad in work had a bump in his car about a year ago. Total fault of the other driver. Wrong lane on a roundabout etc..

Anyway the driver of the other car gave him false details and the police were given the right run around and couldn't locate the driver.

Anyway the only way the guy was tracked down was when a letter went to my m8 saying he was getting a whiplash claim against him for the accident from this guys solicitors.

This other guy though in his wisdom had no driving license (provisional with 9 points), no insurance, no tax and got done for the lot including providing false details at the scene of the accident
