have you tried the IT fix yet? i.e turn it off wait a while and turn it back lol. Works everytimr on mine!!!

If I back off the throttle for a second then put my foot back on it goes off. Only does it when I'm going up hills I can feel it stutter then the EML comes on. Doesn't slow down or lose power? Will keep accelerating even with EML on

Had ICV, AFM and crankshaft sensor replaced within past year.

79k. EGR is expensive. Everything is expensive for this engine

I'll take it round to my mechanics one night. Hes got the right diagnostic equipment for it and does it for free.

It only comes on when I'm on the motorway doing between 70-80mph going up a bit of an incline. Any other road, any other speed it doesn't come on

a lass i know has a 1.2 sxi and everytime she goes into 5th at 60mph the EML comes on

fault code is showing EGR, but shes a pikey and wont let me change it

bloody car wont got above 65mph though

symptoms seem similar to yours too

almost like a misfire when the light comes on

Yeah a misfire then the light comes on!

Its rather gay, I think the bulb should be changed for a pink one

i had the same problems at high speed turn out one of the fuel pipes had a cink in it so stopped the flow

TBH it could be anything. Don't listen to people on here. Just take it to your mechanic mate and get a diag done...

just get it on a diagnostics machine as it could be anything


but my bet is the AFM
