Time for a new car - again
Went to see one of these the other day at the car supermarket, and must admit i really like it. However just wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with them? What they like to drive, build quality etc.
Btw its the 2.0 SE.
Main point drawing me too it is from 2003 reg onwards they all came with a 5 years manufacture warranty, which would come in handy.
Any help greatly appreciated

went to le mans in a gen 2 last year and have to say it was excellent.
they're not good looking but this quite surprised me. comfy for three people and luggage, plus we were cruising at about 120 for around an hour to try and get to calais in time to catch our ferry home.

I’ve got a Gen 1 Coupe. Very happy with it !!!
To be honest I think a lot of people on here will tell you they are shit, just because they think it’s Korean, and don’t know anything about Hyundai’s. A group of my mates have Jap cars, and they were Like “  why ? You should of got Jap!” But the Coupe is different and surprised them when i took them out in it.
The only down side IMO is for a car that looks nice and sporty lacks power. For a 2.0L it’s only around 140Bhp, but insurance is cheap, so I don’t complain too much. But then again it’s an easy engine to tune, and with simple mods it will be quicker and more powerful !

Good bunch of guys…but don’t have the same kind of banter/humor you get from CorsaSport.
You do get quite a lot of stuff in the coupe for the money you pay.

1.6- dont bother
2.0- has some decent grunt but still not very exciiting
v6- boring
all in all the 2litre is the best out of the range,has good levels of equipment and as you said 5 year warranty
GF's mum has the 2.0 my vtr gives it a decent run for its money upto about 90-100
