i have a corsa c, and i have manage to somehow snap the bottom bracket and its leaking from somewhere around that area, the leak isnt big, maybe a few drops after a long drive

but i was wondering if there are any other solutions ratehr than replacement as i have A/C there is extra added cost of removing a/c condensor and regassing

Put an egg white in it! if the leaks small enough the water or coolant is going to escape through that hole. When you dump in the egg, it goes in as a gooey liquid. But as it travels through the hot fluid (note: engine running), it cooks and hardens. And if everything works just right, the egg is dragged toward the hole, hits it, hardens up and plugs the leak.

Not really an ideal long term fix but it works mate for a short term fix if the holes are small enough

p.s. it's not to good for your cooling system so just use it as a short term fix

^^^^ that does work, although I would only use it in an emergency. get a new radiator, running with no coolant from a leak can cause head gasket failiure and overheating.........

There also may be a possibility it could be brazed up, which is a long term fix but you'd need to use a radiator shop or welding shop

not for a corsa c, and i have to remove the a/c condensor as well, its not overheating, infact its underheating, never reaches middle, usually about 80, if i top up with coolant will it be ok? its been like this for 1/2 a yr now because i only found out i had a leak
