i suspect the russians will eventually shut the factory whilst holding the rights to the name etc, and then move production to europe / russia, will be a shame but can see it being like that

The running costs of these cars is

Depending on which variant its just silly.

It doesn't surprise me they are closing the UK factory. You can build the car elsewhere far far cheaper with the same management and 5p an hour labour.

After all TVR was bought by a Russian wasn't it?

I thought at the time that is all he had bought it for, as it was making a loss then! He'll start up a new factory/race team in Russia or somewhere using the TVR name.
