I think i have work to had in tomorow which i haven't finished. Proper work that goes towards my degree. The thing is on a slide show on how to do this assgnment (research proposal for dissertation) it says the hand in date is on the 26th. So if i hand mine in on the 26th and they say its late, will i have a case to say no it isn't and i thought the hand in date was Wednesday. Still not certain if its Monday or Wednesday, just that a few other things say its 24th.

well if its written down you have a pretty good case, but its probally going to come down to the fact if they think your trying to pull a fast one or if your genuinely manking a mistake.
either way you hav not done it so you will find out soon enough lol.

I'd go with the slide show if it is official university publication. Approach your dissertation tutor and explain the situation. Then explain that you were given two different dates and you are working to the later one.

the work is too hard and i've not started, plus i'm knackered so its just not going to happen.  I'm going i tomorow so if everyone hands there work in i'll go up and see him, i wont be the only one i can guarentee!

Least you arent in the same situation as me  I got a 2000 word essay for thursday, 4000 word one for tomorrow which i havent started, what i thought was a 1500 word one for thrs but found out it was 2500 and for 2 weeks ago ( ) and a group presentation for may 4th. Ive had a really shitty past few months though which the uni know about, but still not sure if i will be able to pass the year

oh yeah and a 2000 word report based on teaching a korean guy english, and i havent finished the lessons yet, let alone done the report :S lol

Ive got 2 exams in about a weeks time, their bloody seen exams though so just like doing an essey but even worse as ou have to remember the drivel your writting and write it again.

i'd seriously consider giving up on your current year, taking some time out and restarting the year again in september
that's a major kick in the nackers having left that much to do in such a short amount of time

I gotta do a resit in the summer as I failed my first exam at uni. Think it was just the whole transition from alevels to uni and i neglected to do enough work

I had to resit 8 out of 12 exams last year cos I was too lazy! And i failed the resits also! Restarted on a course with no exams! All i have to do now is a 5000 word essay due in 2 weeks and Then i have rest of summer to enjoy!

Leave my work til last minute everytime and say ill never do it again, then next assingment its the same

Ditto but I find I produce my best work then under pressure.
For example I've just emailed in a bit of work to college for which the deadline was 4pm today
