Took a lass out for a drink the other weekend that got to know through some mates.

Thought she was 18/19. I'm 21.

Went in this pub and gets to the bar and I got asked for I.D. (which I quite often do ) so got my driving license out, no problem there.

Turned to her and said are you not wanting a proper drink cos she didn't get any I.D. out, said no I'm only 17 now I'm thinking ok shes a bit younger than I thought but thats not too bad as she said she was 18 soon.

Never bothered with her after that night as didn't fancy her, didn't really think she was my type and just couldn't be arsed. Anyway now I find out she was 16 and it was her 17th birthday last week

If I had known that from the start I wouldn't of gone near!

I think that shes too young for someone thats 21 to be with...

Does this make me a dirty old perv

my mates never told me how old she was and it never crossed my mind to ask as looking at her I would never of thought she was 16

nah as said above I didn't really get on with her that much so dont want to make anything of it anyway

I was just thinking to myself that if I were her Dad I wouldn't be happy about it

At the end of the day, when you're 21 and the girl is 16, regardless of looks you can really notice the age gap in their personality and complete mongyness.

I asked a similar question not so long ago and I don't believe it would work for myself personally.

Personally 16/17 would be a bit too young if i was 21. I would want to go out with a girl who could pay her own way without having to ask her dad for a pocket money advance! or need lifts or picking up from school/college.
