Mates Mrs car got keyed all the way down one side last night (dodgy estate).

They've gone right down through the paint/primer to the metal.

Stretches from front wing all the way to the back

I take it this wouldn't buff out

Not at all, estate where my mate lives is well dodgy to say the least, apparantly it's not worth owning a car worth more than a few hundred if you live there

His Mrs doesn't live on the estate, but bought this year old corsa a few weeks back and when she parked up near his this happened. They didn't see who did it or anything.

can you stick your nail into the sratch? if you can theres no way thats coming out.

Is it metallic black? you could repair that yourself quite easily if its just ordinary solid black, mask along the edges of the scratch carefully with masking tape, then a simple scratch repair kit, use the filler pen to build up the scratch, smooth it off, then paint the colour

She wants to get it sprayed up properly. She's only just bought it and it's only a year old, she's gutted. She was in tears when she saw it

You reckon it can just be sprayed over at a bodyshop? Couple of hundred quid maybe

No one ever gets done for this do they

I wish the penalty was huge and you got a few years in prison. Its mindless vandelism and it costs the owner of the car so much to get repaired

Just got a quote of £325 to repair.

That's for totally taking each panel right down, re priming and spraying the whole side.

That seem fair
