had a race with 1 the other night and we were both going for it and i won. the mini being the smaller car i thought it wud have won. but it didnt hehehe

cooper s has quite long ratios and weigh a fair bit iirc, presuming were talking about the BMW one?

I'd expect your car to win really in a straight line, I think with a couple of roundabouts thrown in it might have gone his way a bit. They are supposed to have good handling.

ive never had any probs leaving them in a straight line, bit difficult round bends tho.

anyway, most people that own a cooper 's' cant drive, they just buy them as a fasion accessory.

the cupra/r handles surprisingly well, ppl expect them to be boat like and full of understeer, in fact mines oversteery if anything
