advantage of doing shocks aswell?

what will happen if you go lower?

Advantage of shocks is that they are made to run with the shorter springs. Also are stiffer to aid handling.

If you go lower, your car will handle not very well, and your standard shocks will last 5 minutes.

Nothing to worry about really. Mines 40mm, and never had a problem.

lower it 40mm with springs, will be fine, just means that jacking the rear of car up causes springs to come loose and it shortens the life of your shocks

i had a nova with 15yr old shocks and lowered it with springs, was fine for 2yrs+

Mine's -40mm with uprated shocks and handles a treat. Also can get 5 up without any scrubbing and that's down on 16"s Kosei Alloys.
