electro magnetic sticky tape or form a vaccum behind the repeater thus fixing it down

Might try superglue, will it fix on rubber to metal though. Just wondering if there was a more suited solution.

wrap the stalk with electrical tape and screw it in till its wedged in there, double sided tape on back, or, use the glue stuff you get on the car badges

Bought some halfords foam outdoor sticky pads, cut them and put one on each side of the repeater and stuck it on. Sticks out a tiny bit now, im gonna try and not let it get to me!!!
