1) sib from PF hit a dear on track

2) Chip from PF/MIG has crashed his E30 BMW and is a write off, gonna cost him/insurance £2500 to fix the barrier

3) Rainbird from PF broke a driveshaft and damged the cross member (fixed overnight)

4) A porsche has hit two motorbikes on circuit at the `ring this weekend, a total of 3 dead.
Many closures of the road and countless incidents have marred this weekend so far according to people returning to britain. RIP the bikers involved.

5) Nutter' cam belt tensioner went at 145mph on his 3 door cossie, he loaned a 1.4 TDI polo and drove that round the ring instead

6) JC saff cosworth cracked the head iirc

7) ummm.............

the engine/car failures are all peoples fault.... if the engine car was able to cope with the pounding it would have taken it.

I dont think alot of these incidents are down to car fault, more like driver fault. People need to take more car and be prepared as though it was a race with apropriate safety gear. Its basically the best test track in the world pushing car and driver as close to and over the limit as possible.

Dont forget, plenty of people go to the ring and dont get injured or hurt and come back in cars that aren't trashed!

The animal incidents cant be avoided though.

I think the ring is just classed as an unrestricted toll road, best off checking with your insurance company first .

surely is it not inevitable that these kind of accidents will happen i mean its a public toll road which is basically used as a racing track by all ppl.

that fact that peoples cars break has nothing to do with fact that there at the ring, this happens whether ur at santa pod doin 1/4 or just driving merely down a country lane.

yeah there are alot of crashes at ring but i think its due to mad cunts who think there nigel mansel or valentino rossi

It's used as a race track because it is a race track.
