Firstly let me say I don't wana start a big debate.

Earlier I was driving along when some twats in a Saxo pulled alongside and thought they would try to race me...I knew the area and that there were speed cameras all around so obviously didn't rise to it.

They went straight past one camera in a 40 zone at at least 55mph, I thought then they went straight through the next at probably even more speed

Can anyone explain this do cameras usually run out of film? What are the chances of two cameras within a few hundred feet of each other not working

not all camera's work

some are just dummy ones

even if a camera runs out of film it should still flash

every camera box works fine a dummy box is one which does not have a power supply to it

the cameras cost so much [some thing daft] so the road safety teams transfer the camera from box to box usually when they are changing film obviously a working box is wired up

round my area we have about 10 static camera boxes but only 2 cameras

moral is

carry spare fuel at all times evan tho its ilegal

so if a camera does get ya you can burn it out even them mobile gits he wont be laughing for long when your dowse him

no serious dont speed thru cameras
