We (Lincoln City) sold a mate of mine for £500000 last summer to liverpool. He had just turned 17 at the time and joined liverpools academy. He had only ever played 5 minutes for Lincoln. He was a centre back at Lincoln.
However, now he is captaining liverpools reserve side (from the centre of midfield) who have just won the first leg of the FA Youth Trophy 3-0, and a re talking about Hobbo in the same sentences as Steven Gerrard.
Wtf is that all about, its amazing. I really cant belive it.
Come on Hobbo!!!!!!!!!!

I can remember one of my mates years ago, having the worst game of his life against Downing who plays for Middlesborough. My best mate nearly snapped Ben Muirhead in half once, He was meant to be one of the "next best things" when he was playing for Man Utd acadamy. Kept him quiet for the rest of the game though.
