What a Job and a half!, I've just finished fitting the following into my 2000 Sport.

http://www.bassjunkies.com/index.php?pid=28433&show_my_car=&return_link=%2Findex.php%3Fcpage%3Dproduct%2Fbrowse_brand.php%26area%3Dshop%26category_id%3D17%26manufacturer_id%3D404%26sub_category_id%3D62%26aperture_id%3D904533445010554%26mode%3D&source=brand

Even though the mounting depth(61mm) was less that the supposed 63mm allowed I still had to make a spacer to lift the Autoleads adaptors further out to allow the window to clear the speaker magnet by around 5mm.
Luckily there was enough room before the front of the speaker started hitting the cover grill.

Then the speaker connections had to be bent to allow the wires to pass free from the window when down.

On top of that I had to cut some of the door away to allow the magnet to pass through the hole.

As I didn't want the tweeters on show due to them being very much white to look at, I modified the original tweeter holder to accept the JBL ones allowing them to sit behind the grill in the door handle surround.

Well after all that it does sound better than standard(im not currently running these through an amp).
The treble from the tweeters is a lot more noticeable now, is this how they normally are?

The tweeters will be more powerful than the original paper vaux ones, will sound more tinny.

If you dont like it you can supress it by 3db usually on the crossover. If you cant do that on the Xover then you will have to get a 5 / 7 band EQ to get the best result.
