some of the metal on the caliper needs grinding away, or 5mm spacers

my speedlines fitted straight over 2.0 brakes no bother

altho with new pads it may cause a problem maybe

it was me fella i had two different callipers on the front end one from a cav and one from some ting else i got the grinder onto it

a 5mm spacer would have made no difference

tried fitting them but the lug next to the spring on the caliper was very close, so fitted a 3mm spacer and they now fit fine

on both my corsa and nova the allesios hit the 2.0 16v calipers. grind abit off the caliper and its all gd

what offset are alessos? i have 14" steelys over 2.0 brakes with no proplems at all...

its the central area where the bolts go thru which is fauling the 2.0l calipers

Agree

I had slight notch in this part after i had new pads but on. Just needed a bit more grinding off the callipers.

The steel wheels dont have such a big central area like the speedlines do.

there is a metal clip which holds calipers in line dont grind any further than that

take calipers back an get some off a different vaux

post a pic of your caliper
