So, went to Halfrauds the day to price up a timing belt kit for a C20XE. The guy replied "Yes, they are £209".

I replied "Are you having a fucking laugh?"

So, my question is - where do you buy your belt and tensioners from? And how much?

proper motorfactors. If engines Pre 92 we sell a Gates kit for £130 (there good) think the part no. is K015203

Mine was about £140 odd... Then another £30 for the water pump.

92/93 i think, could be early or late. Does the belt on at the moment have round teeth or square? think round is pre 92

i got 2 rollers and tensioner and belt for the later type belt set up for mine for 55 quid i think it was

make sure u get the right water pump i had a wrong 1 fitted and it eat my belt + lucky it didnt go bang

just bought the timing kit from there cost £79.99 including VAT and it was next day delivery
