As i was approaching Wooburn green coming from cookham direction (stevew will know where)
I was behind a rover 200 doing 30-35mph chattin away to my girlfriend, there was no one behind me and no one else around.
Anyway there was a truck heading the other direction with a flat bed thing and a pug 405 estate on the back of it.
As it neared us i saw something bounce off it... It was a tyre bounding down the road towards me at 50mph. I thought shit, thats not good, i pointed the calibra's nose at the tyre thinking if i hit it dead on there should be minimal damage...
Then, as the wheel wobbled, i noticed a glimpse of silver SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT thats a fucking whole wheel!!!!!!!!!! !:
So i slammed on my brakes, swearved into the luckily empty other side of the road and narrowly missed the alloywheel doing 50mph+ at the front of my car, luckly there was no-one behind me and it hit the kerb (all was on a slight bend) and flew at least 20ft in the air
So i am a lucky lucky boy And the truck driver didnt stop or come back Coont! Id have been fucked if that had hit me!
