my mates old corsa would destroy ALL, it was black(thats means its fast), has a NOS sticker on the rear window(added at least 50bhp), along with all the other usual mods: tints(25bhp), max power seat covers(a whopping 100bhp). I think the hole car was a MASSIVE 500bhp from a 1.0 12v !!! cant say thats not impressive

it should be done on engine size, eg 1.6 16v vs 1.6 16v

with slight variations like 1.1 8v against 1.28v etc etc

the 2ltrs can gtf

but if its done like that Steve, we'll lose, SSC have much better range on their 1.6s than we do, we've only got about 4 big power 1.6s

we need XE's/ LETs to even stand a chance

Sounds good. But if the saxo lads are confident enough to take on the 2ltrs then I don't see a problem. A VTS with a bit of money spent on it could take a standard XE.

Sorry a Saxo is a Saxo and a Corsa is a Corsa. Regardless of engine size, its the first to the end of the strip/track that wins.

When I'm racing on the road I don't only look for cars with the same engine
